Jurassic Park! Jewson Maidstone goes dino crazy!

The recent supplier day at Jewson’s branch in Maidstone had an additional surprise guest in the form of what we are reliably told is a Centrosaurus.

The dinosaur made a brief stopover on its way to Port Lympne Reserve in Kent. The wild animal park, located between Ashford and Folkstone, celebrates 40 years of conservation this year and is about to open its latest attraction – the largest collection of life size dinosaurs in Europe! Anatomically correct and totally authentic, the dinosaur experience isn’t just for scares as the park’s rangers will be on-hand to tell the story of the animal kingdom millions of years ago, share detailed stories and give exciting presentations.

To promote the new attraction, the Centrosaurus has been on the loose throughout Kent and the Park is urging spotters to use the Twitter hashtag #dinotour to record sightings of the missing creature!

On Monday 7th March, it was located taking a well-earned rest at Jewson in Maidstone, raising a few eyebrows at the merchant’s demo day. The Jewson event was supported by a number of suppliers including British Gypsum, Bosch, Bostik, Redland, Marshalls, Wienerberger, Ibstock, Simpson Strong-Tie, Spax and Rockwool.
