Arbor Forest Products has launched a competition to reward merchants who get creative with marketing activities to drive sales of Trex, with a £500 cash prize available.
The company’s Arbordeck brand has recently launched a Trex point of sale pack to encourage end users to purchase the composite decking.
The pack features two Trex sample boards, floor graphics, ceiling hangers, wobblers and an external banner.
To enter the competition, Trex stockists must send a photo and a short description of the display via the Arbordeck website, with entries judged on both creativity and value achieved. Entries are open until 29th June 2018, with the winner set to be announced on 31st July 2018.
Last year, the competition rewarded stockists who demonstrated an inventive approach to their own Trex marketing. West Sussex-based Southern Sheeting took home the prize after the launch of its dedicated composite decking website, which featured detailed product information and how-to-videos, a sample request service and an option for customers to buy online.
Trex Product Manager, Sarah Francis, commented: “As we don’t sell direct to consumers, our relationship with stockists is key to the success of the Trex brand. Our stockists are important partners, which is why we have invested in the creation of the point of sale pack to give them the tools they need to make the sale.
