Dale has announced its ranges of made to measure products have achieved the PartQ accreditation, so that its UK-wide network of merchants can ensure their customers are meeting the new PartQ PAS 24 standards.

Coming into force in October 2015 to help increase the security performance of windows and doors being installed in new build properties, PartQ has had a major impact on the window and door industry with only PartQ PAS 24:2012 certified products able to be used in new builds.

Dale has been putting its made to measure range of timber windows and doors through their PartQ paces and has achieved the classification across its:

  • Double Glazed Stormproof Windows
  • Double Glazed Timber Sash Windows
  • Double Glazed Flush Casement Windows
  • Contemporary Front Doors
  • French Doors
  • Bi-Fold doors
  • Handled Wooden Entrance Doors

“We are absolutely delighted to have achieved the Part Q classification for so many of our product ranges,” said Dale National Sales Manager Matt Chambers.

“Clearly the classification is designed to have a positive impact on the security of windows and doors for new build properties and for leading window and door companies like ourselves, testing existing product ranges is a major undertaking. So it’s great that so many of our timber windows and doors have now gone through testing and achieved successful classification,” added Matt.
