Imperial Bricks joins BMF as Supplier Member

Imperial Bricks has announced its membership to the Builders Merchant Federation (BMF). Imperial offers the widest range of handmade bricks from a single source and is experiencing strong growth with merchants. Becoming a member of the BMF was a logical next step.

Benefits of membership include industry-led events, business support, reports and data, specialist training and political representation for the builders’ merchant trade.

Imperial Bricks Managing Director Jason Hughes comments: “We already work with some of the leading national, regional and independent merchants such as Jewson, Travis Perkins, Buildbase and MKM Building Supplies, to name a few. Our merchant team has been working hard to ensure we provide solutions and services to suit all types and size of merchant. Some merchants may be brick specialists looking to demonstrate their core product offering, while others need support to introduce new ranges to their business.”

Jason continues: “That’s where our personalised POS displays, brick sample boards and brick display towers have made it easy for merchants to educate customers about the versatility, durability and high quality of handmade bricks. We offer services such as brick matching, bespoke brick blends, weathering and tinting and specialist lime mortars. Our Brick Matcher app also has a whole host of features, including a brick coverage calculator.”

With bricks to suit every region, available in imperial, metric and special sizing, and on reasonable lead times, Imperial Bricks believes it can help merchants enjoy better profit margins with handmade bricks.

Jason adds: “The handmade brick market is accelerating quickly, particularly with the increase of smaller, luxury developments and restoration work. This will see an increased pressure on merchants’ stock levels, and Imperial Bricks has a reliable supply to meet demand.”
