Alumasc restructures sales team

Alumasc Water Management Solutions has announced the implementation of a new regionally focused sales team structure which has been designed to “bring better communication and project focus”. PBM reveals the details.

Alumasc Water Management Solutions (AWMS) reports that it has now restructured its sales teams to “better provide for the regional needs of both new and existing AWMS clients and projects”. As a leading player in the water management industry, offering solutions that span the entire building envelope — to use its own tagline — ‘fromrain to drain’, AWMS states that it has grown to represent premium quality building products, systems and solutions.

After 90 years in business, it now comprises the brands Skyline (for fascia, soffits and copings), Rainwater (gutters and downpipes), Harmer and Wade (building drainage) and Gatic (civil drainage and engineered access covers), which are all designed to promote “the efficient use, retention, recycling and disposal of water”.

John Coe, the current Commercial Director for Alumasc Rainwater and Harmer Drainage, will now assume full responsibility for all AWMS sales teams across the five brands. Under John’s leadership, new North and South regional sales teams will be formed and fall under the direction of Peter Wainer, the new Regional Sales Director — North, and Wayne Willmott, the new Regional Sales Director — South.

John commented: “The restructure of our sales teams is aligned with our strategy to deliver the best in water management solutions with a focus on offering the most comprehensive technical and service support in the UK.”

Working within sales and business development, John and has seen the company grow greatly over the course of his 30-year career with AWMS. He continued: “Alumasc has significantly expanded its range of products, systems and solutions to offer an unrivalled single source building envelope solution. This restructure will help us to communicate the full extent of what Alumasc offer and its objective of helping to mitigate the client’s risk.”

Internally, there will also be benefits. He explained: “The restructure will help us to maintain a clear overall view of each project in its entirety and therefore enable our various teams working on the same projects to communicate better, collaborate more, and create more opportunities to deliver exciting concepts for the entire building envelope.”

In this way, AWMS says that it will aim to offer its customers a building envelope solution with a joined-up ‘rain to drain’ product and service proposition.
