Aco

GravelGuard

With the UK experiencing a home and landscaping renovation boom, ACO Water Management has launched its gravel stabilising ground reinforcement system — GravelGuard.

Manufactured from 100% polypropylene, it is designed to facilitate unimpeded drainage of surface water while simultaneously ensuring gravel stability for pedestrian and vehicle access. It is suited to a range of applications, including driveways, garden paths, public spaces, and roof surfaces.

One of the defining features of GravelGuard is the incorporated geo-textile membrane, which helps to reduce weed growth and crucially speeds up installation by not requiring the installation of two separate layers of membrane and grid.

Stelrad Radiators

Silhouette Concept

Within both the Vita and Softline Series, the Silhouette Concept from Stelrad will be available in Anthracite Grey.

Head of Marketing Chris Harvey said: “The addition of coloured options from stock has been well received. We’re seeing the numbers of orders increasing week on week and it is clear that radiators are being seen by many as part of the décor in a home rather than simply as a heating appliance.”

Marsh Industries

SuDS SAFE

Marsh Industries has announced the launch of the ‘SuDS SAFE’ Hydroil oil separator range with the inclusion of mitigation indices. The company tested the Hydroil separator range for total suspended solids and metal mitigation indices in line with the British Water Code of Practice testing procedures. This is in addition to an existing test procedure, whereby the Hydroil has already achieved EN858-1 certification for light liquid separators.

Combining these two test sets together and applying the Ciria SuDS manual simple index approach to proprietary/manufactured storm water treatment devices, the Hydroil separator range is able to achieve the following mitigation indices: Hydrocarbons: 97.5%, Total Suspended Solids: 84.35%, Total Metal Reduction: 63.26%.

Simpson Strong-Tie

19mm Collated Flooring Screw

With the problem of squeaky floorboards often attributed to poor fasteners such as nails working loose over time, Simpson Strong-Tie says its new MTHZ19E collated underlayment screw offers a solution.

And whilst conventional 25mm timber screws used to fasten flooring can carry a risk of damaging underfloor electrical cables or puncturing water pipes, the new MTHZ19E is designed for the Quik Drive auto-feed screw system and allows fast and secure underlayment to subfloor installations, with a sharp point for fast start and a trim head for a neat finish.
