Aico to showcase informative videos

As part of its ongoing commitment to providing the very best customer support, Aico Ltd. has created a 15 part series of short informative videos.

Presented by key Aico personnel, including National Technical Manager, Martyn Walley, the new collection of videos has been designed to provide customers with a range of educational and practical advice. The videos address subjects such as standards, regulations, best practice, the latest Aico alarm technology such as AudioLINK data extraction and step by step guides to the most frequently asked questions, including how to test an alarm and how to change a battery.

These bite size videos have been produced with a mixture of video footage filmed in Aico’s Centre of Excellence training facility and easy to understand animations with the aim of helping customers achieve a successful and effective Fire and/or CO Alarm installation.

In addition to these practical videos, an Aico company overview video has been produced featuring Managing Director Neal Hooper, along with a short video on the Centre of Excellence at Aico’s head office in Oswestry, Shropshire which is used for training, product demonstrations and much more.

Michael Wright, Marketing Manager at Aico, explains the thinking behind the new suite of videos: “According to latest market research four times as many customers would rather watch a video about a product than read about it. Aico has always provided advice and training in formats that meet customer expectations, from our hugely popular Expert Installer Training Scheme through to our new Mobile Training & Demonstration vehicles, launched earlier this year, which takes training to their very door. Our new collection of informative videos provides the same quality of information but in a new, easy to digest format. We are really pleased with the results and customer feedback has been positive.”

The full 15 part video collection is available to watch now on the Aico’s You Tube channel www.youtube.com/user/aicoalarms or on www.aico.co.uk/about-aico/support/information-videos. They are also featured in Aico’s new Mobile Training & Demonstration vehicles, along with a virtual tour of the company’s manufacturing process in Shannon, Ireland.
