New Hull branch for Builders’ Merchant Company

Builders’ Merchant Company has announced it will be moving to a larger branch within Hull, at a new location on the Sutton Fields Industrial Estate, by spring 2021.

The relocation comes as a result of the company’s growth over the past few years which has seen it become an become an established independent builders’ merchant in the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire area. It now employs 35 people whilst turnover has reached in excess of £9 million via a much-expanded customer base.

In Hull, the business will be increasing its operation with the move to new, state-of-the-art offices and larger warehousing facilities enabling it to progress with its “positive business plans for further growth and development”.

Managing Director Duncan Thomson commented: “The relocation of our operation to Amsterdam Road within Sutton Fields Industrial Estate is the beginning of an exciting year for us in 2021. We continue to go from strength to strength within the builders’ merchant world. Quite simply, we have outgrown our existing premises and this move is an exciting new progressive development for us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers, as it is their business development that has allowed us to do this.
