Bushboard celebrates Nuance patent

Bushboard has announced that it has secured a patent for its trim free waterproof bathroom panelling system Nuance.

Invented by the Bushboard team, Nuance is a 100% waterproof, trim-less wall panelling system available in a range of decors. It has been designed to look virtually seamless due to its smart jointing and preformed edges.

In timed trials Nuance is reportedly six times faster to install than ceramic tiling and to demonstrate this Bushboard offers a trial-room installation service for larger contract customers; a service that is said to have produced 100% take-up rate with specifiers.

To celebrate the new Nuance patent, Bushboard has invested in a dedicated Nuance showroom, at the company’s head office and British manufacturing site in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Located alongside Bushboard’s worksurface display space, the Nuance showroom includes displays showcasing designs in a variety of shower, bath and wet-room settings.

Neil Horton, Sales Director for Bushboard, explained: “We are justifiably proud of Nuance. We broke the mould with the product and created a fantastic looking, time and mess-saving alternative to ceramic tiling. It’s been particularly popular with consumers who want the look of luxury solid materials like marble but are working to a budget or simply want their bathroom back in use quickly without the mess of grout and dust.

“Developers and contractors appreciate the speed of installation making it ideal for projects like hotel refurbishment, new home build and renovations. Nuance has quickly become the first choice for new bathrooms designs – it offers many advantages over other types of wall covering and looks incredible.”
