Coveya launches COV-Screen

As we all face the impact of COVID-19, Coveya has designed a new product which will protect recycling and waste management, shop, petrol stations, pharmacy and reception staff, customers and visitors from the spread of the virus.

COV-Screen has been designed by the Coveya team to offer a cost-effective freestanding or countertop screen that can be installed quickly.  It’s made from durable 2m acrylic and can be joined safely and securely at the edge of a counter to create a longer barrier.  It also has a robust hygienic two-part stainless-steel base and the panel widths are adjustable.

It’s being manufactured in Bristol and can be distributed to customers throughout the UK.  It’s particularly designed for enabling the protection of staff and customers.

Gareth Herbert, MD of Coveya Ltd commented; “We have been designing and manufacturing a range of conveyor systems for over 30 years with customers throughout the UK and further afield.  But as we all face the impact of COVID-19, our expert team of designers identified a way of not only protecting the future of our committed and valued workforce but also offer a cost-effective product that will play its part in mitigating the spread of virus.

He continued; “We pride ourselves on great design, manufacturing, installation and customer service and now more than ever, we are investing in new products that meet what’s needed right now.  We will work around the clock to manufacture and supply this product to whoever needs it.  COV-Screen offers a cost-effective, efficient and flexible solution that is easy to install and we hope that it will play its part in mitigating the spread of COVID-19, supporting a wide range of local and national business that are integral to keeping Britain moving”.
