Dale Hardware has strengthened its offering to customers following its acquisition by ASSA ABLOY, a global leader in door opening solutions.
Backed by ASSA ABLOY’s global resource, capabilities and support, the change will help ensure Dale Hardware continues to deliver the best possible solutions and services to builders’ merchants, according to the company.
Dale Hardware joins well-known ASSA ABLOY brands such as Yale and UNION, complementing the company’s Security Solutions offering. Operating as an autonomous business, Dale Hardware’s strong commercial and operations teams assert they will continue to provide excellent customer service to their customers.
Speaking on the plans for the future, Chris Gorse, Managing Director of Dale Hardware, said: “This is an exciting new chapter in our history. The move will help us to further invest in product innovation and broaden our offering in the market. The synergies with the UNION brand especially help us to offer one of the widest range of products in the market.
“The business will continue to operate autonomously from our site in Ossett and our message is very much ‘business as usual’. This means our customers, which we have longstanding relationships with, can continue to expect the same great service from the same team but now with the added benefits that come with being part of the ASSA ABLOY group, so we have even more to offer.”
Eryl Jones, Managing Director of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, added: “There are three key benefits to extending our offering with Dale Hardware. Firstly, combined with our UNION brand, merchants now have access to a larger range of architectural hardware solutions than ever before. Secondly, we can streamline our services to ensure we’re meeting our customers’ needs every step of the way. Finally, Dale Hardware can now draw upon our capabilities to help drive innovation and grow its business even further.
“Dale Hardware will help further enhance ASSA ABLOY’s product portfolio for builders’ merchants, and we look forward to mutual growth and opportunities.”
