Geberit announced as latest BMF Centre

The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has launched its latest Regional Centre of Excellence at Geberit in Warwick.

The growing network of BMF Regional Centres of Excellence aims to make training courses and regional meetings more accessible to BMF members around the country.

The latest centre, the BMF’s 20th Regional Centre of Excellence, based in Geberit’s purpose-built UK headquarters in Warwick, will serve BMF members in the West Midlands.

Geberit is said to have significantly invested into expanding and updating its showroom at its Warwick head office. Originally launched in March 2017, the showroom is designed to provide visitors with insight into the latest Geberit products and innovations.

The Centre of Excellence status means Geberit can now use the showroom to support builders’ merchants in areas such as training and development, business advice and policy representation.

John Newcomb, BMF CEO, said: “This stunning centre was opened on 19 July. The centre is well used by Geberit’s clients, and we are extremely grateful that they are opening it to our members too. We look forward to holding future forums, training courses and regional meetings here.”

Brent Hudson, Marketing and Product Management Director, added: “The move to our new bespoke premises in Warwick last year gave us the opportunity to create this fantastic hub. Our ambition was to provide a centre that represents all that the Geberit brand stands for as well as offering visitors the opportunity to experience Geberit products, services and support first hand. Everyone at Geberit is delighted that our facilities have now been recognised by the BMF and we look forward to welcoming even more guests through the doors in the coming weeks and months.”

Forthcoming BMF meetings already booked at Geberit, Warwick include the Plumbing & Heating Forum on 6 November, the West Midlands regional meeting on 21 November and a three day Leadership Skills for Supervisors course on 4-6 December.
