George Clarke unveiled as Methven Brand Ambassador

Methven has announced the appointment of Architect George Clarke as its first Brand Ambassador.

Television personality and Architect George, has agreed a partnership with Methven after initially using one of its Satinjet showers while visiting family in New Zealand. He has since experienced the Aurajet Aio shower and been impressed with the New Zealand-based company’s dedication to design and innovation.

Born and raised in Sunderland before studying architecture at the University of Newcastle and University College London, George is passionate about design and was particularly keen to learn more about Methven’s approach to new product development, use of materials and the water and energy saving benefits the products offer to consumers.

His first role as Brand Ambassador was at the Sleep Hotel Design Event, at the London Business Design Centre, on Wednesday November 22nd where he was on Methven’s stand (G34) all morning.

He said: “I’m really excited to be teaming up with Methven which is a fabulous brand and I’ve been more than impressed with the stunning products it brings to market. The business has stayed true to its New Zealand roots with a focus on the environment and on design and innovation – all of which makes them really stand out from the crowd. I’m really looking forward to meeting the team and working with them in the coming months.”
