GRAF UK expands workforce

GRAF UK has increased its workforce by a third, in a bid to further expand its nationwide reach, as part of a series of major developments for the company.

It also upsized its Oxfordshire headquarters in 2017 to accommodate rising demand for its range of stormwater, wastewater, and rainwater harvesting solutions.

The now 41-strong GRAF UK team has expanded by 32% in eight months, with growth objectives set out for the rest of 2018. 10 new hires have been taken on with roles spanning business development, sales and administration, across the UK and Ireland as part of plans to strengthen GRAF UK’s existing customer offering and sales network – and to expand into new product markets later this year.

Matthew Rolph, Managing Director, explained: “After moving to new headquarters and opening dedicated Irish and Scottish premises in the space of just two years, this latest team expansion marks an important next step for us.

“As well as enhancing our on-the-ground sales presence in key growth areas like the South, Midlands and North of England, Wales and Scotland, we’ve responded to demand across the board by adding to the customer service and technical teams for our full rainwater harvesting, stormwater management and wastewater treatment portfolios. We’ve also created a brand-new sales support role for our upcoming garden products range, with a full launch planned in the summer.”

As well as its stormwater, rainwater and wastewater management product range, GRAF UK also offers an accredited CPD training programme aimed at specifiers, installers and other industry professionals.

Matthew  continued: “Germany has always been the major market for GRAF, but as the trade and end-users alike switch on to the long-term benefits of genuinely effective and sustainable water management solutions, we’re seeing unprecedented demand here in the UK. Whilst everyone at GRAF UK has ambitious objectives for even more growth in 2018, customer service remains our number one priority. It’s exactly this reasoning that’s driven our new hires – we’ve bolstered the team in a way that means we can service new orders and reach new markets, whilst still putting customers first.”
