Ecommerce training gains CPD certification

A digital transformation course designed for the builders’ merchant sector and delivered through the BMF has received national recognition for its quality.

Course author, eCommonSense Managing Director Andy Scothern, said that he was delighted that the course had been assessed to have met the benchmark threshold to receive the accreditation from the CPD certification service.

“With an increasing expectation for professionals to undertake continuing professional development (CPD), it is important that the training satisfies the benchmark tests and that course authors are experts in their field,” added Andy Scothern.

A structured, practical and methodical approach to learning helps employers to keep key staff and develop the skills and knowledge in their organisations and to maintain a sustainable and competitive advantage.

The course, which was submitted by the BMF for assessment, is aimed at distributors, suppliers and merchants.

Managing Director of eCommonSense Andy Scothern developed the one-day course, called “Letting your customers trade with you online,” which tackles subjects such as:

  • What is digital disruption and how is it impacting the economy?
  • How important is digital in the merchant space?
  • The complexity of the merchant market
  • Digital success cases in B2B
  • Creating a customer-focused strategy
  • Developing a digital strategy
  • How to start the change process and manage the project

Andy Scothern said: “I am delighted that the course has been recognised by the CPD Certification Service. I am passionate about making sure that the builders’ merchant sector gets the chance to attain the skills and knowledge needed to remain competitive and delivering the course in conjunction with the BMF offers demonstrates the positive working partnership we have with them.”

The course can be booked through the BMF via the training team.
