National Buying Group adds eight suppliers

National Buying Group (NBG) added an additional eight Suppliers across the Brick & Block, Roofing & Insulation, Timber, Tools & Workwear and Decorating & Hardware categories.

NBG Partners will benefit from an increased offering in the Brick and Block category as Mansfield Brick Co joins with 181 years of expertise and great deals, currently producing products ranging from concrete commons and coursings to brick slips and closure blocks.

U Value Insulation has become the latest Supplier to join the Roofing and Insulation category, bringing an extensive variety of products and a reliable service, already distributing to a large number of customers nationwide.

The Timber category is also experiencing growth as it welcomes Magply. The new Supplier will be “providing great deals” on products including a Fire Protection range and Multi-Purpose Boards.

Two more Suppliers have also joined the Tools & Workwear category. NBG Partners will now have access to the Tactical Threads clothing line from Regatta and they will also be able to enjoy the benefits offered by the arrival of Progressive Safety Footwear & Clothing, which also has the license for JCB workwear.

NBG’s Decorating & Hardware team is also now welcoming an additional three Suppliers. Firstly, Rothley joins as “one of the leading European suppliers of DIY and builder’s products and hardware components”, with over 190 years of experience. The company will be joined by Samac Fixings, a distributor based in Essex which will provide non-ferrous products to Partners including nails, screws and fixings. Supplying a wide range of specialist cleaning and disinfecting products for professional tradespeople, Big Wipes is also now on board.

Managing Director at NBG, Nick Oates, said: “The new Suppliers joining NBG will provide a great range of deals for our Partners and their customers. All eight Suppliers will provide a unique product offering and an elite level of expertise that will be great to have within the NBG community.

“The continued growth of the group is another promising step as the independent merchant sector begins to recover. Our collaborative approach and ever-growing range of diverse product deals will hopefully help Partners and Suppliers as they continue to grow.”
