The sky’s the limit for 18 Parker Building Supplies employees who have recently passed their exams with flying colours.

The independent timber and heavyside builders’ merchant held a special presentation to celebrate the achievements of the team members who have passed exams or graduated in their final studies.

The following people have been recognised: Joshua Styles, Alex Kitson, Ben Curtis, Daniel Bateup, Rebecca Coleman and Ryan Channon all passed the Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Trade Business Services, while Tim Rogers, Mike McDonald, Shelly Hodges, Claire-Marie Rowland, Nick Needham and Ryan Philo each received a Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) Diploma in Merchanting.

Tim Briance was awarded a Foundation Degree in Builders’ Merchanting, Laura Pierce and Dave Clark both scooped their Post-Graduate Diploma in Independent Merchant Leadership and Strategy. Jamie Pierce was awarded with the degree of Master of Science Multi-Unit Leadership and Strategy.

Tristan Jarrett and Stephen Bruty passed their Cisco Interconnecting Network Devices exam, which tests knowledge and skills around technology and infrastructure, and Josh Scudder now has his Transport Manager’s Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage.

The firm’s Financial and Commercial Director, Stewart Pierce, said: “We firmly support the continual development of our workforce and I’m delighted that so many of them have completed the next stage of their studies as this can only benefit us all in their day-to-day work.”
