A new campaign to promote and encourage decorators to confidently use colour has been launched by AkzoNobel through its professional decorator brands, Dulux Trade and Armstead Trade.
The in-store promotion runs alongside a series of colour-focused initiatives launched by the company including the annual Colour Futures 2016 trends forecast and a national search for Dulux Trade Masters — namely, professional decorators who have carried out exceptionally skilled projects.
Merchants’ decorator customers can take advantage of a number of product offers that are running as part of the AkzoNobel Champions of Colour promotion and Samantha Balloch, Marketing Manager for Dulux Trade, said: “The trends indicate that customers want colour in their schemes and decorators who are not as confident applying colour have a wide number of resources at their disposal to help them brush up on skills enabling them to meet customer demands and trends. For example, the Dulux Trade Paint Expert website is resource rich with guidance and several apps for decorators to use (whilst) merchants across our network nationwide are also hugely knowledgeable and able to give advice.
“The Champions of Colour campaign gives professionals a chance to take advantage of offers and discounts available on the huge number of paints and finishes and to really flex their colour muscles for less than what it would usually cost. If there was any time to bring customers a lot of joy through the use of colour, it is now.
