Timbmet, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of timber and panel products, is inviting the trade to an Open Morning on Tuesday 8 December at its Shellingford Distribution Centre in Oxfordshire, the company’s main storage and distribution centre.
During this special event, visitors will have the opportunity to tour the 200,000 square foot facility, see the extensive range of stock on site, watch Timbmet’s highly skilled staff as they turn and select the timber by hand, and view special product displays.
For the convenience of visitors arriving at various times, tours will run regularly throughout the morning from 8.00am to 12.00 noon, with discussions continuing afterwards over coffee and bacon rolls.
Members of the Timbmet team will be on hand to discuss the range and answer visitors’ questions about the various materials and products on offer, as well as the company’s national distribution, delivery, collection and service programme.
Local Business Managers will also be present to deal with individual queries and to offer advice on the many traditional and innovative timber species in the growing Timbmet portfolio.
