Sika Everbuild has just completed its 455th Roadshow this year, racking up thousands of miles visiting local builders’ merchants all over the UK to give the nation’s tradespeople the chance to take a closer look at its high-performance range of products.
It’s been the busiest year to date for the manufacturer’s dedicated team of seven technical application experts who have each run close to 100 roadshows in the last 12 months alone. They’ve all tirelessly travelled the length and breadth of the country – visiting merchants of all shapes and sizes from small family-run independents to nationwide firms with hundreds of branches. Between them the team has covered almost every corner of the country from Inverness to Truro, from Milford Haven to Middlesbrough and everywhere in between.
But Sika Everbuild says it is far from ready to stop now, with a packed calendar of roadshows planned for the rest of 2022 and beyond as merchants continue to request roadshow events. Each roadshow features fun competitions, interactive product demonstrations and giveaways with the supplier stating that they are “the perfect way” for the team to showcase the benefits of the whole Sika Everbuild range including EB25 – its most versatile and strongest sealant and adhesive which is typically the star of the show.
As well as offering tradespeople the chance to learn more about the products and how they can make projects run smoother, Sika Everbuild also offers product training to merchants’ counter staff so that they are up-to-date on the latest developments and are fully equipped to give customers the best possible advice.
Andrew Scanlon, Applications Manager at Sika Everbuild commented: “We love to get out and about and meet our customers to help them get the most out of our products and answer any questions they might have. The roadshows give us the perfect opportunity to do just that at locations all over the country.
“We’ve had excellent feedback about the roadshows and we know our merchant customers and their customers have seen the benefits of learning more about the full range of Everbuild and Sika products and how they work in different settings. We’re always keen to work with our customers to make sure the roadshows suit them by focussing on the products that are most relevant to them at any point in time. It’s easy for merchants to request a roadshow visit so we’re encouraging tradespeople to let their merchants and stockists know if they’re interested in taking part in a roadshow event as we don’t want anyone to miss out!”
The company say it is now even easier than ever for merchants to request to host a Sika Everbuild Roadshow event of their own by filling in a simple online form. And as well as running the show, the team also supports merchant hosts by providing assets to promote their event in store and on social media in advance, and all events are listed on Sika Everbuild’s website for tradespeople to find where their nearest roadshow is happening.
