Exhibitors from across the building trade wowed more than 1,000 delegates at the Howarth Timber and Building Supplies Trade Day at Elland Road in Leeds on November 24th.
The event surpassed 2015’s bumper event as 75 leading brands arrived to showcase their latest products and offers, including the likes of VELUX, Stanley, Quick-Step, Trex and Keylite.
Delegates were treated to a complimentary breakfast before product experts and building specialists from around the UK carried out demonstrations and shared insights into the very latest industry developments.
The crowds in the Elland Road Pavillion thronged throughout the day and many took advantage of exclusive offers and deals, with 250 attendees going home with tickets for Leeds United’s home match against Aston Villa after spending more than £200 with Howarth Timber.
Howarth Timber is one of the UK’s leading timber firms, offering one of the widest ranges of building materials in the country, and its reputation has been growing since the company first formed in 1840.
Neale Brewster, Marketing and Product Development Manager at Howarth Timber, said: “In 2015 we were thrilled to have 50 exhibitors at the trade day, but this year’s event has surpassed all our expectations with 75 firms in attendance.
“The trade day has gained recognition throughout the industry and to welcome so many respected companies and have them share their products and expertise gives us immense pride.
“The event was another roaring success and we would like to thank all the delegates – some of whom made long journeys to be there – for their enthusiastic attendance.”
