NBG rewards excellence with Supplier Awards

This year’s National Buying Group Conference once again culminated with the annual NBG Supplier Awards which saw a number of the industry’s leading brands, people and companies awarded honours in recognition of their contribution to business success of NBG’s merchant Partners.

In the spectacular surroundings of Liverpool Cathedral, the awards marked the culmination of another successful NBG Conference that focused on the importance of building successful brands with the title Bigger, Bolder, Better.

As well as awards for suppliers in each of the group’s eight product categories, the NBG Suppliers Awards prizes were also given to the Brand of the Year and Account Manager of the Year, voted for by NBG Partners. Brand of the Year 2017 is TI Midwood (TIMco) with OX Group and Knauf Insulation finishing second and third. John Gaunt of Knauf insulation scooped the Account manager of the Year title once again, with Simon Rance (TI Midwood) and Guy Best (Arbor Forest Products) as second and third placed.
