Swarm partnership
Charcon has partnered with surface water management manufacturer Swarm Water Management to provide a range of low to high capacity drainage products called H2O Linear Drainage. The partnership is offering a range of linear drainage products that can minimise the impact of rainwater run-off and flooding in a variety of hard landscaped areas including urban spaces as well as heavier duty applications such as industrial sites.
Made in UK, Swarm’s patented, low maintenance Linear Surface Water Drainage System can be hidden into paving, and is described as an environmentally-friendly solution that boasts up to 99% recycled material within its pipework.

Doosan
NX Plus
As the successor to Doosan’s entry-level GX Series, the manufacturer has launched the NX Plus Series — an enhanced low-cost range of four-wheel Diesel and LPG powered counterbalance forklift trucks.
Fully compliant with Euro Stage V, both Diesel and LPG models are available across a range of capacities from 2.0 to 3.5 ton. The combination of a powerful Kubota engine, a lowered centre of gravity and a rigid transaxle is said to facilitate smooth and safe operation on gradients of up to 25%, making the NX Plus suited to a wide variety of applications.

Eco-Pac packaging
Tembé is highlighting the sustainability credentials of its Eco-Pac packaging as it aims to lead the market in moving from plastic cartridges to the more sustainable aluminium foil sausages. The company offers a range of 14 foils — including its Pro3 three-in-one solution — for all jobs within the adhesive, filler and sealant categories in addition to providing options in ‘good, better and best’ performance levels.
The foils offer 400ml for the same price as a 290ml cartridge, and contain 96% less waste. The pack contains less than 1% plastic and will help merchants meet their Corporate Social Responsibility and reduction in single use plastic targets, whilst all products are supplied in cardboard cut cases for easy shelf display, or in either cardboard or metal free standing display units.

Featuring Safe Touch technology, Bristan has updated the Buzz and Craze models within its bar shower range which now included the Wallmount 12 fixing kit as standard. The award-winning kit has been engineered to enable front of wall isolation, meaning the connectors can be installed first, and the bar shower itself doesn’t have to be fitted until a later stage, protecting it from potential damage.

Platinum Range
Manufactured from high specification duplex stainless steel, Gledhill’s Platinum range is designed to eliminate the requirement for an external expansion vessel, providing a suitable solution for restricted spaces whilst enabling quicker installation. In addition, the cylinders are insulated using high density HCFC-free Envirofoam insulation to achieve “astonishingly low levels of heat loss”, maximising energy efficiency for customers.

Heavy-Duty Deco
Adding to its Heavy Duty radiator family, Stelrad Radiators has announced the addition of a Heavy Duty Deco radiator. This robust version of the popular Deco design comes with a 3.2mm combined thickness tough outer steel fascia to provide additional protection.
The new range consists of radiators in two heights — 450 and 600mm and in K1 and K2 formats, all available in lengths between 400 and 2000mm — to comprise a range of 36 radiators and add to Stelrad’s already comprehensive selection. Heat outputs at 50Δt range from 915 Btu/h to 10,928 Btu/h for the largest model in the range.

Slimline cylinders
Five new slimline hot water cylinders, ranging in size from 150 to 300 litres, are now available from Grant UK. These new models join the MonoWave High Performance cylinder range, providing installers with efficient hot water storage solutions when space is at a premium.
Each of the five new cylinders has a diameter of just 510mm making them suitable for installations where limited space is available. The tappings are labelled and colour-coded, helping to make the installation easier and more installer-friendly, whilst all the slimline cylinders also feature a 3kW fitted immersion, have a single coil and are unvented, indirect models.

Brushless impact wrench
Powered by the supplier’s 40VMax XGT technology, Makita has expanded its XGT 40VMax line up with a new brushless impact wrench. The TW004G (which follows on from the TW001G) can deliver up to 4,000 impacts per minute and is said to deliver the power needed to tackle mid-range torque applications with a maximum fastening torque of 350Nm and nut busting torque of 630Nm.
Operators can choose from four power settings and six application modes, so the output can be easily adjusted depending on the task and for ease of use.

According to the company, the syphon is guaranteed to fit into any lever operated cistern and features a light touch activation making it easily operated by both the very young and the elderly.
