Ei3018 Carbon Monoxide Alarm
Bringing together the company’s very latest technologies into one alarm, Aico has introduced the Ei3018 mains powered Carbon Monoxide Alarm. At the heart of the Ei3018 Carbon Monoxide Alarm is Aico’s electrochemical Carbon Monoxide sensor which has a 10 year life and is pre-calibrated and tested in Carbon Monoxide gas to ensure accuracy.
When in alarm mode, the level of Carbon Monoxide detected is indicated by the flash rate of the red LED on the unit and the sounder incorporated within it. The Ei3018 comes with a number of features including AudioLINK data extraction and SmartLINK wireless interconnection & whole system data monitoring capability.
Bosch Commercial and Industrial
GB162 light commercial
For improved installation, servicing and operation, Bosch Commercial and Industrial has made a series of enhancements to its GB162 light commercial gas boiler. For the first time, the GB162 will be available as an 85kW model, meaning the boiler is now available in outputs of 50, 65, 85 and 100kW. The new boiler model also includes an improved syphon with a threaded connection for a secure fit andthe addition of a single sided removable cover improves access to internal components.
The GB162 now boasts a new pump group which offers the combination of lower hydraulic resistance and more residual pump head. It is also compatible with the Control 8000 which allows for medium and large commercial heating systems to be monitored and controlled remotely via a computer or tablet.
Domus Ventilation
Sapphire
Formerly Polypipe Ventilation, Domus Ventilation’s Sapphire range of bathroom and kitchen intermittent extract fans and Decentralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation (dMEV) units promise to deliver quiet performance. The Sapphire range features axial and centrifugal dMEV, and intermittent axial, in-line, and centrifugal bathroom and kitchen fans. They are available as both standard and energy efficient models, with low Specific Fan Powers (SFP) to comply with Building Regulations.
Sapphire models are available with a variety of user-friendly control options, including timer, pull cord and humidity-sensing versions. In addition, the range also features a ‘silent’ back draught shutter, low voltage (SELV) variants for installation within zone 1 (the splash area) and retail pre-pack options.
Keston Boilers
Warranties
Covering its range of wall hung and twin flue boilers, Keston Boilers has announced it is offering new warranties. Keston System and Combi ranges will continue to offer a 5 year warranty, however, if a Keston 22mm System Filter is also installed and registered with the boiler, the warranty will be increased to 7 years.
If a higher output is required, Keston Heat offers 45kW or 55kW options. Powered by natural gas or LPG, this range of boilers is offered with a 2 year warranty as standard which can be upgraded to 5 years if the boiler is commissioned by Keston. Installing a Keston 28mm System Filter at the same time as the boiler will also activate free commissioning.
Vogue (UK)
Cygnus Harmonique
Following the launch of its 2019 Brochure, Vogue (UK) has introduced the Cygnus Harmonique. It features a white vertical panel radiator which is set within a combination of Mild Steel looped towel rails and has a sequence of linked coiled bars which provide ample towel hanging space. Wall-mounted for optimum siting, it is made from Mild Steel and measures 1200 high by 500mm wide, with a depth of 159-174 mm.
Suitable for central heating, dual fuel or sealed electric systems, Cygnus Harmonique can be controlled by Vogue (UK)’s recommended VL003 Arne Valves and has a heat output of 908/3098 Watts/BTUs.

Aston
Adding to its designer radiator range, The Radiator Company has released the Aston, a classic column radiator featuring footed end sections. An evolution of the Bianco range, the Aston is available in four heights, up to 40 sections and in 3 or 4 columns.
It can be specified in any one of the full 132 colours from paint manufacturer Farrow & Ball’s range, and with the additional choice of 25 RAL colours, alongside a polished option. By emitting a more constant heat, the Aston is also said to be ideal for older properties with poor insulation.
