Compatible with all waterproofing membranes and roof build-ups, Marley Alutec has launched Elite — a multi-purpose flat roof and balcony drainage system. The Elite outlets have been engineered to deliver a flow performance of up to 19l/s, thereby, reducing a project’s rainwater pipe and underground drainage requirements.
The membrane compression clamp design on Elite outlets, combined with butyl sealing rings, securely locks the waterproof membrane to the outlet body, ensuring a durable watertight seal. The Elite outlets connect to all common PVCu, High Density Polyethylene Pipe (HDPE) and socketless cast iron pipework sizes.

Pattress Plus
Promising to be time-saving, dust-reducing and noise-eliminating, Medite Smartply has introduced the Pattress Plus OSB3 panel. Said to be ideal for contractors who construct plasterboard partitions, Pattress Plus panels feature a continuous recess along one side that is designed to accommodate ‘C’ studs without the need to cut in slots on site.
This key design feature means that each panel sits flush against the stud flange, holding steady while the other side is screwed into place. Pattress Plus panels are available in thicknesses of 15 or 18mm, widths of 397 or 597mm and lengths of 1250 or 2397mm.
Norbord
CaberAcoustic
With reduced impact and airborne noise transmission, Norbord has upgraded its CaberFloor P5. Called CaberAcoustic, the product comprises 18 or 22mm CaberFloor P5 chipboard with a 10mm acoustic felt layer permanently bonded to the underside.
Designed as a floating floor laid over an existing deck in either new-build or refurbishment applications, CaberAcoustic is installed with the tongue-and-groove joints glued with CaberFix D3 adhesive and all perimeters of the panel sealed with acoustic flanking strips. Norbord CaberAcoustic boards are 2400mm long by 600mm wide and are available in 28 and 32mm thicknesses with standard TG4 edge profiles. They come in packs of 40 (28mm) or 36 (32mm) sheets.

LST Standard Deco and LST iPlus Deco
Adding to its radiator range, Stelrad has released the LST Standard Deco and LST iPlus Deco design. The low surface temperature radiator — LST — offers an ‘important and safe’ form of heat, and is said to be popular in both domestic and commercial properties.
LSTs offer a degree of safety from radiators that are ‘safe to touch’ for people of all ages and for those who may be vulnerable. The additions comply with the requirements of the NHS Guidance Note for ‘Safe hot water and surface temperature’ and can be installed in commercial and public buildings running heating systems. The surface temperature of these LSTs will never exceed 43°C.
Salamander Pumps
EVE
In an industry-first, Salamander Pumps has announced the launch of EVE. A twin-ended, universal shower pump, it features a variable bar rating which can be changed with just the touch of a button. EVE uses a sensor to monitor the system water flow and detect any changes, while a brushless motor varies its speed to ensure a constant pressure, no matter how many outlets in the home are open at any one time.
It is said to be the first pump on the market to fit into both positive and negative head situations without the need for a pressure vessel and working with any gravity-fed system.
