18-Volt cordless impact driver
Described as flexible and efficient in confined spaces and hard-to-reach areas, the 18-Volt cordless impact driver is the latest addition from Bosch Professional. The Bosch GDR 18V-200 C Professional and the Bosch GDX 18V-200 C Professional have a maximum torque of 200 Newton metres and feature short head lengths of 126 or 147mm respectively. They are said to be more powerful and compact than their predecessor models, and are designed for all connections in installations of metal and wood work. The cordless impact drivers tighten common screws of size 6 by 60mm faster, and also work recoil-free allowing users to operate the tools with one hand.

CT Mini and CT MIDI
Designed for mobile use, Festool is launching the new CT MINI and CT MIDI compact dust extractors, expanding its range of mobile dust extractors with three models. The highlights of the two compact all-rounders are said to be that they can fit in any vehicle and that they are easy to transport due to their compact dimensions and low weight. Indeed, with a container volume of 15 litres, Festool says the CT MIDI for dust classes L and M is the smallest extractor for hazardous dust particles in dust class M. The smaller CT MINI has a 10-litre container volume and has been developed for use with dust particles in dust class L. They also feature intuitive touch control, smooth suction hose and storage shelf for tools and work materials.
RST Tools
RST RSF51601 Multifunction Scanner
Featuring three scan modes allowing users to determine accurate stud depth, RST Tools has introduced the RST RSF51601 Multifunction Scanner. The tool can locate stud centres and edges, finding wooden studs up to 18mm deep, metal (stud, pipe and rebar) up to 60mm and AC live wire up to 50mm deep. Equipped with a backlit LCD display, this tool is said to be essential for all building professionals.
