AVS Fencing & Landscaping has welcomed new Managing Director Stewart Pierce, as it sets itself up for a year of growth and change.
Stewart Pierce will be responsible for overseeing the brand’s strategic development plans as well as its rebrand. He joins AVS with 30 years of industry experience and started with the company at the beginning of April.
In his previous role as the Financial and Commercial Director of Parker Building Supplies, he was responsible for their key growth strategy programme and staff development pathway.
He is currently Junior Warden of the Worshipful Company of Builders’ Merchants and was previously Vice Chair of the Builders’ Merchant Federation for 6 years, being a pivotal figure during its rebuilding process and strategy setting.
Stewart will now be responsible for driving the business forward and for the continuation of the rebrand and branch upgrades, as well as a widening of the product offering.
Stewart commented: “I’m looking forward to this challenge and working with the AVS team to promote growth plans and introduce the new look branches.”
