PHG, the independent plumbing, heating and bathroom buying group for UK merchants, has announced that Bradfords Building Supplies will be joining the group from 1st January 2024.
Based in the South West of England and led by CEO David Young, Bradfords is a forward-thinking and ambitious business. The company has plans to continue the recent expansion of its heating, plumbing and bathroom business, both within its existing branches and by growing its plumbing and heating branch network in the West Country.
Of the move to become a PHG member, David said: “Joining PHG has been an aspiration of ours for some time. The opportunities that membership will bring us to help grow our business and work with a group of dedicated plumbing and heating specialists will benefit our company enormously.”

Bradfords is already a leading member of the h&b Buying Group and will remain members of h&b for all non-heating, plumbing and bathroom needs.
Formed in 2012 and led by some of the most experienced merchants in the country, PHG is a merchant buying group for the UK plumbing, heating & bathroom sector. From January 2024, PHG will have 16 merchant members, operating via a total of 365 branches throughout the country.
