Chandlers Building Supplies enters the kitchen supply sector

In another expansion of its services, Chandlers Building Supplies’ Brighton branch has launched its first kitchen product ranges aimed at builders and property developers.

Having identified a gap in the market for the “instant supply of quality kitchens”, the award-winning builders’ merchant, located in Portslade, has introduced an off-the-shelf, next day delivery on quality rigid kitchen cabinet ranges and accessories.

Neil Brown, the merchant’s Head of Kitchens (pictured), said: “Over the last year or more we have felt our customers pain regarding extended lead times for kitchen cabinets and kitchen appliances. As a result we have invested in the kitchen market place to provide an instant solution for our trade customers.

“We now provide everything for kitchens – at a superior quality than builders would expect from a ‘trade kitchen’, competitively priced and with little or no lead-time. This will help builders complete their build or refurbishment project on time and in style!”

Levering its long-standing supplier network, Chandlers Building Supplies now has six complete kitchens ranges, to include rigid cabinets, available for next day delivery from its warehouse in Portslade, Brighton and a further 38 available on a 5-day lead time.

Aimed at builders and property developers in Kent, Sussex and Surrey, the announcement follows Chandlers’ expansion into the tool hire sector at the end of 2021.

Chandlers, Parker Building Supplies and Fairalls, plus Stamco Timber are part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG) boasting 39 branches in the south east of England and the Midlands.
