Cheshire Mouldings unveils new website

Cheshire Mouldings has unveiled a new and improved website, designed to offer an enhanced user experience for installers, merchants and end users alike.

The recently launched site boasts a number of new features on an easy to use interface that provides quick and easy access to information on the whole product range.

One of the biggest developments is an enhanced trade members area, which has been given a fresh layout to allow trade customers straightforward access to brochures, technical drawings, fitting instructions and more. A brand new image library also allows the user to seamlessly download single or multiple product images at once through an interactive media gallery.

The popular ‘Plan Your Stairs’ site is also now incorporated within the main Cheshire Mouldings’ site, allowing homeowners to simply plan out their next staircase online without having to visit a separate site. This is complemented by the introduction of an inspirations page, which mixes product specific hints and tips with some of Cheshire Mouldings’ more inspiration led social media content into a responsive interface which offers the consumer a wealth of information and ideas.

Finally, an interactive timeline of the company’s history can also be found on the company profile page, demonstrating the family heritage, which is still at the heart of the business today.

The new site is just one of the ways that Cheshire has invested in the business in 2016. The company also opened a new multi-million pound distribution centre and office space dedicated purely to its independent merchant customers earlier this year, and has also introduced new machinery including a purpose built mouldings line and an advanced optimising and detecting cross cut line.

Managing Director, John Carney commented: “The launch of the new website is another stepping stone in allowing us to offer the highest levels of service to all our customers. The idea was to create a site that was useful for merchants, installers and homeowners by providing them with all the information they will need at the click of a button.

“For installers that means easily downloadable content such as how-to or fitting instructions, whereas for end users it’s about creating a place where they can not only choose their product but find inspiration for their next project.
