City Plumbing Supplies has celebrated the completion of its role in Travis Perkins plc’s pledge to ‘build the best’ Plumbing and Heating Division in the UK with a celebratory event for customers, suppliers and colleagues in the North East.
The initiative began in 2015 and has resulted in 342 branch restructures in total. The final phase of 25 branches in the North East opening in new locations or refurbished to include a Bathroom Showroom and City Heating Spares counter has now been completed.
John Frost, Managing Director at City Plumbing Supplies, said: “Over the last year a lot of hard work has gone into the successful restructure of our business to better meet the needs of installers and their customers. We can now announce that this mission to ‘build the best’ plumbing and heating division is complete, with the final phase having taken place in the North East.”
‘Building the Best’ forms part of Travis Perkins plc’s plan to offer an unrivalled range of plumbing and heating services and product choice through its Plumbing and Heating Division. The initiative has focussed City Plumbing Supplies on domestic installers whilst Plumbing Trade Supplies extends its expertise to meet the needs of large contracts and commercial installers.
