Designed to securely retain in position all types of passive and non-passive street furniture, the SWITCH™ Socket from EJ – formerly Peter Savage – has been created to suit Ø115mm poles and is available in 450mm, 600mm, 750mm & 900mm depths for typical pole installations.
The system offers a top housing unit comprising of pavement plug and a total grip & release clamping system, along with a 360° duck foot bottom bend. The SWITCH™ Socket has been designed with new and innovative features including a patented 780cm2 clamping system designed to ensure the pole is held in position securely.
This large area is also said to allow for easy pole removal after knockdown as the pole does not deform after impact, as demonstrated by extensive crash testing at a UKAS accredited test facility.
