ERA has refreshed its online ordering website, www.eraeverywhere.com, in a bid to further enhance the service it provides to its customers.
Almost 12 months since its launch, the website has provided customers with a platform to order over 7,000 different security and hardware products with next-day delivery and 24/7 access.
Having access to such a large range online is reportedly an industry first and the site also allows registered trade customers to buy in box quantities with their own individual pricing visible. In addition to range availability, the site provides unrestricted access to product information without having to sign in.
Product information is also presented and includes technical data sheets, fitting instructions, imagery and videos to allow customers to find information on any ERA product quickly and provide up-to-date information to their own customers.
ERA E-Commerce Manager, Victoria Hammond, said: “It is a great trade focussed site that allows us to talk to our customers and trade users of our product, providing them with relevant information which can help them sell. This has really proven important and is well utilised by the trade, for example we are offering installer training which is promoted on the site and immediately talks to the right audience.”
From an online ordering viewpoint, customers can also manage their trade account from a personal dashboard to review orders and check delivery details. Same day dispatch is offered on all orders placed before 3pm and free delivery is applied to all orders over £250.
Victoria continued: “The site is performing brilliantly, and we are continuously developing new things all the time. As well as refreshing the site in line with our brand, we’ve introduced other new features to improve efficiency and ease-of-use.
“All online orders are now fully automated which saves a lot of time for customers and frees up our internal teams to focus more on building relationships, not processing orders. Search improvements have been made to help guide customers more accurately, direct them quickly to new products and make product suggestions for them based on their previous search behaviour.
“Product information is regularly reviewed and updated and we can now advise customers buying one product, if another related product would be a good idea too. The ‘quick order form’ has been improved to make it ‘quicker’. Existing customers will now also be reminded if they haven’t ordered a product for a while by prompting them to order at the checkout stage as we find a lot of customers order, then realise they have forgotten something and order again. This is proving to be a great time saver for our customers as no one wants to do a job twice.
“The site will always be a work in progress as the more it’s used, the more we can improve it based on customer experience and feedback.”
To apply for an online trade account with ERA, retailers should visit the Account Forms page at www.eraeverywhere.com and fill in the online registration form with their company details and trading account number.
