Flame Heating Group is continuing with its expansion plans in Scotland, with the launch of another branch in Edinburgh, which will mark the company’s third opening in the country.
The Heating & Plumbing merchant has invested £100,000 into the launch of the branch, which is based at Unit 15 Marnin Way, West Edinburgh Business Park, South Gyle.
The 3,283sqft trade counter will be led by Investor Director, Adam Killen, who has more than 10 years’ industry experience having started out as a Sales Advisor with a national merchant before progressing to become Branch Manager. Adam was then a Key Account Manager covering the East of Scotland, before joining Flame.
The Edinburgh opening follows launches in Glasgow and Ayr at the start of 2018, taking Flame’s branch count to 11 throughout the UK.
Danny Byrne, Development Director for Scotland, said: “This is another significant investment by the Group, which strengthens our position in Scotland with the launch of a branch in one of the country’s main cities. We are now hoping to build on the initial success enjoyed with the openings in Glasgow and Ayr, and develop the Flame brand further throughout Scotland.
“Adam possesses a wealth of industry experience and is a welcome addition to the team. I am looking forward to working with him and driving forward the growth of Flame in Scotland, as we hope to launch even more branches in the near future.”
Adam added: “I am delighted to come on board at such an exciting time as the company expands further into Scotland. Edinburgh is a prime location and I believe my experience and knowledge of the area will stand me in good stead, as I hope to build a thriving branch and grow it over the next few years.”
