Flexseal announces new category brands

Flexible coupling manufacturer Flexseal has announced the launch of new category brands. The company states it is looking to show customers that its award-winning service and innovations go far beyond civils & drainage products, and it will now market its product ranges under three category brands: Flexseal Civils & Drainage, Flexseal Plumbing and Flexseal Water Management.

“The advantage of marketing our ranges under these three categories is two-fold,” explained Flexseal Managing Director Lee Pashley. “In the market, it makes our customers more aware of our product offering to the civils & drainage and other end users. Within the company, we’ll put greater resource and focus on some of our newer product ranges, so that we can offer our customers a higher level of support and can develop those ranges further.

“Flexible couplings for drainage applications will remain key to the business. We’ll continue to supply the widest range in the market, exceed quality standards, develop new products to match the industry’s changing needs and manufacture bespoke products with short turnaround times. None of that will change, but we will grow the other ranges that we supply in order to increase the scope of our end users.”

Flexseal Civils & Drainage will include the company’s core range of drainage couplings, as well as its range of lateral connections and pipe seals. This is the area for which the company has built its reputation for excellent quality products and market orientated focus.

Flexseal Plumbing will comprise the company’s comprehensive range of smaller diameter couplings, which the group manufactures in both EPDM rubber and in PVC, as well as a portfolio of other associated plumbing products.

Flexseal Water Management will include channel drainage and other products that control water flow. The company has stated it has some new products in development for this category which will be introduced to the market later this year.

“Having assessed our business over the last 12 months, we need to focus on offering real customer solutions,” continued Lee. “Working with our sales function and interpreting feedback surveys from our customers, our new focus has been defined. Whichever market our customers sit in, Flexseal has a credible offer focused on delivering the right solution.

“Service and innovation will remain key to the way in which we operate. And that will apply across all of our ranges, so customers can expect the same high standards for all of our products.”
