Flogas Britain has announced the acquisition of AvantiGas’ cylinder business in a deal which means that cylinder customers previously served by AvantiGas will now be supported by Flogas Britain.
A number of AvantiGas Cylinder colleagues will join the Flogas team with MD Ivan Trevor stating: “This is a significant and positive step for Flogas. We’re pleased to be growing our footprint and reaching more customers, but we’re equally proud to be welcoming new colleagues into the Flogas family.
“We know they’ll bring great experience and insight with them. Our focus now is on making the transition as seamless as possible for both customers and employees, while continuing to deliver safe, dependable energy.”
The acquisition includes AvantiGas’ cylinder stock, customer accounts, and transportation assets related to the Cylinder business. Flogas is working closely with AvantiGas to ensure there’s no disruption to supply and that every customer has what they need, when they need it.

This deal is described as forming part of Flogas’ wider ambition to grow responsibly while helping customers reduce carbon over time. While LPG remains a vital part of energy today, the business is also investing in future-ready fuels and services to help customers make the transition when the time is right. The business adds that customers “will hear directly from Flogas over the coming days and will be given all the information they need to continue using their energy with confidence.”
