The Alumasc WMS Drainage Centre of Excellence has announced it will be adding Gatic Slotdrain to its portfolio from July 2019.
The strategic move will allow the physical relocation of Gatic’s Slotdrain operations from its Dover site to the facility in Halstead, Essex.
The Centre will now facilitate two business, Wade and Gatic Slotdrain, in a bid to increase its focus towards offering a single source drainage solution for the entire building envelope.
Simon Hipgrave, Managing Director at Alumasc Drainage Businesses, commented: “This strategic decision has been made with our customers’ at the very centre of our thinking. In fact, we’ve made a significant investment of £750,000 in new and existing machinery to improve capacity and efficiency of both Wade and Gatic operations.
“The Dover site will still be the hub for Gatic Covers and remain very much operational. The support teams for the Gatic Drainage range, however, will be situated at the Halstead site in Essex. We will also be undergoing an internal team reshuffle to make sure that our customers receive an increased level of service and support on a regional and national basis. The announcements for this will come in due course.”
The Drainage Centre of Excellence provides a space for contractors, architects and specifiers to gather vital insights and question experts on the full capabilities of the AlumascWMS product range. With the addition of Gatic Slotdrain the Centre will soon be able to showcase an increased portfolio of water management solutions.
