Graf UK has grown its team by more than quarter in response to steadily rising demand for its stormwater, wastewater, and rainwater harvesting ranges.
The company has made a series of 12 new appointments across its customer service, installations, logistics and finance departments – bolstering its previously 24-strong team to 31. Among the 12 new recruits are four distribution centre operatives, two customer service reps, two accounts specialists, two installations experts, one logistics manager and one technical assistant. The move comes just months after Graf upsized its UK headquarters to accommodate rapid business growth, relocating to the 10,000 sq ft Regen House premises in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
With the UK market for the company’s products continuing to expand, a key focus of the recent recruitment drive was further improving the customer journey – from initial consultation right through to delivery. As well as dedicating more resource to customer support, this means optimising distribution processes across its English, Irish and Scottish branches.
Andy Jones, Graf’s new logistics manager, is an ex-Royal Navy recruit with 25 years’ experience in warehousing and logistics management. He joins Graf UK from FWP Matthews.
Andy explains: “I have longstanding experience of running warehouses and logistics operations, so when this position came up it was a perfect fit for my skillset, as well as a great opportunity to get on board with a dynamic and growing business. In my new role, I look forward to working closely with on-the-ground distribution staff across Graf’s dedicated branches in England, Scotland and Ireland. By executing a uniform approach to logistics management across all three branches, our aim is to ensure we’re in the best position to continue to meet growing customer demand in the most efficient, prompt, and consistent way possible – providing our customers with the excellent service they deserve, every time.
“Graf is a respected company with a major presence in Europe and other overseas markets, so it’s great to see their UK operations going from strength to strength too. It’s safe to say that I’m joining the business at a very exciting time, and I relish this chance to be a part of its ongoing success.”
Matthew Rolph, Managing Director at the business, concludes: “I couldn’t be happier to welcome Andy and our other eleven new recruits to the team. As a business, we’ve been on an exciting journey since we first established ourselves in the UK in 2014 – one that’s seen us create new jobs and grow our team, launch dedicated branches in Scotland and Ireland, and move to bigger and better premises.
“Our latest team expansion is testament to the fact that sustainable, efficient water management is high on the nation’s agenda, and demand for our products is on the up as a result. Our customers are central to everything we do, and I’m confident that boosting our collective manpower, skills and experience with these talented new additions is another positive step towards making us an even better company to do business with.”
