Graham Plumbers’ Merchant is continuing its long-term relationship with Coventry United by sponsoring the football club for the seventh season running. The merchant, which has its headquarters in Coventry, has offered its support to the organisation since the club was formed in 2013.
Both the men’s and women’s team kit will carry the Graham logo for both home and away games as well as featuring on the pre-and post-match interview boards. The financial support of local businesses continues to be vital as the club looks to upgrade and improve its facilities at its Butts Park Arena home.
Peter Reynolds, Chairman at Coventry United commented: “We want to thank Graham Plumbers’ Merchant for continuously sponsoring the men’s team, and in addition this year, the ladies football team with branding on the back of the F.A. Women’s Championship shirt.
The company has been a steadfast supporter of United since the club formed, and that relationship continues into a seventh year. We simply could not have reached the heights we have without Graham’s backing. If we have a leaky defence, we know who to call.”
Ian Kenny, Marketing Director at Graham Plumbers’ Merchant said: “At Graham we always look to invest in the local community in each area we work. As such we are immensely proud to be supporting the club yet again this year as it continues to go from strength to strength.”
Coventry United was set up by a group of supporters with the aim of creating a local club after the decision was made for Coventry City to move to Northampton at the start of the 2013/14 season. Coventry United currently has two senior teams and more than a dozen junior sides.
After a number of successful seasons for both senior teams, the men’s squad currently plays in the Midland League Premier Division – step five of English non-league football. Coventry United Ladies currently plays at level three of women’s football in the F.A. Women’s National League South with the aim of rising to Women’s Super League 2 this season.
