Beccles Tile & Bathroom Centre has joined the h&b Development Group, expanding its product offering and opening a new trade counter depot.
A well-established family-run independent bathroom business in Beccles since 1985, Beccles Tile & Bathroom Centre has become the latest recruit to the thriving h&b Development Group as the business continues its strategy to broaden its product offer and strengthen its presence in the plumbing trade sector in Norfolk and Suffolk.
With the second generation of the Thurston family joining the business, it has continued to thrive as an independent, locally owned establishment serving both trade and retail customers across Norfolk. Now the business is expanding with the opening of a second site in the town – a trade depot offering an expanded portfolio of plumbing and heating supplies.
With the favourable deals negotiated by h&b, the company feels it will be able to expand beyond its core product range to better serve its existing plumbing trade clientele. Furthermore, the decision to join the h&b Development Group is said to align perfectly with the company’s ethos and expansion plans: driven by the pursuit of sales growth, fiercely independent, and managed by their members.

The h&b Group has a network of 111 merchant members who operate from nearly 350 branches nationwide.
