Howarth Timber and Building Supplies’ programme of expansion and investment has continued, with a series of new showrooms and branches officially opened this summer.
The merchant has unveiled new Howarth At Home showrooms at its Corby and York branches, while the newly refurbished Dartford branch was officially reopened with a new layout and exterior display areas. The new launches follow the unveiling of Howarth At Home showrooms at the merchant’s Wakefield and Leeds branches earlier this year.
Corby now boasts the company’s largest Laura Ashley collection, showcasing classic and contemporary options for kitchens and bedrooms. York’s Howarth At Home showroom now also features the Laura Ashley kitchen collection, with appliances by Rangemaster, Smeg, Bosch, and more.
To mark the branches’ new looks, Howarth Timber gave away a host of prizes across the three events, with lucky winners taking home £1,000 towards a new kitchen, a Smart TV, a Smeg blender and a free wine cooler, among others.
As well as the opportunity to win some big prizes, visitors to York and Corby could learn how to make the most of their new kitchen thanks to a cookery demonstration from Chef, Kevin Hillyer.
Commenting on the new and improved stores, Howarth At Home Kitchen Category Manager, Ratinder Sandhu, said: “The new Dartford store has moved away from looking like a traditional builder’s merchant to reflect the fact that the general public is welcome to browse alongside trade customers, and the new Laura Ashley ranges on display at our Corby and York stores reflects our increased focus on retail customers who want inspiration for their homes.
“We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible service and product range, and our investment in these stores underlines that commitment.”
