Huws Gray says it is delighted to announce a further two-year extension to its’ sponsorship of the Cymru Alliance football league, having signed a new deal which will run to the end of the 2017/18 season.
This continues a long-standing relationship between the building materials company and the League which has seen Huws Gray becoming naming rights sponsors in 2010 with the League renamed ‘The Huws Gray Alliance’ and the League Cup known as the Huws Gray Cup.
The Huws Gray Alliance is a football league and forms the second tier of the Welsh football league pyramid throughout north and mid Wales. League Secretary, Chas Rowland, said: “Huws Gray are a fantastic company to work with, they are a great fit for us as they have many branches covering most of Wales and a large part of their customer base are football fans so it works well. I’d like to thank the company for their ongoing support of the League and we’re delighted to have the company on board for another two years and look forward to working with them in the new season.”
Dafydd Hughes, on behalf of Huws Gray, commented: “Sponsoring the Cymru Alliance allows the company to support several different football clubs and communities throughout our branch network within Wales, and we’re delighted to continue our sponsorship after a summer when the whole of Wales went mad for football. Both Huws Gray and the Cymru Alliance were established in the same year (1990) so we believe that we have grown together and will continue to flourish. The league has huge potential as well as passionate fans so we hope that all clubs, players, officials and supporters enjoy a fantastic season.”
