InSinkErator, said to be the inventor and global market leader of food waste disposers as well as being a major player in the specialist kitchen tap market, has joined the National Merchant Buying Society (NMBS).
An InSinkErator food waste disposer is described as being a sustainable and hygienic food waste solution for the kitchen as, when one is installed, inedible food scraps can be disposed of within seconds. InSinkErator says that food waste disposers divert around 20% of household waste away from landfill and have been shown to have a smaller carbon footprint than kerbside collection.
