TradeKart has come together with Lawsons to form a new partnership to deliver rapid convenience and “next level efficiency” to trade customers.
The two businesses say this exciting collaboration will offer an unprecedented level of service to tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts alike, enabling them to access the Lawsons range through the TradeKart app (compatible on iOS and Android devices).
Alistair McAuley, Founder and CEO of Tradekart, said: “We’re very excited to launch the Lawsons partnership. Lawsons brings an extensive range of building materials to the app, making it easier for builders to get what they need, when they need it, in as little as one hour.”
TradeKart is a rapid delivery service which acts as the conduit between tradespeople and merchants. Customers have access to over 25,000 products which can be ordered in the app and delivered directly to site for a flat delivery fee of only £5. Currently available to use anywhere within the M25, TradeKart has plans to expand into cities across the UK in 2024.
Jeremy Norris, Joint MD & Commercial Director at Lawsons, explained: “We are excited to be at the forefront of innovation. By partnering with TradeKart, we can better service customers who might not be able to make it into a store. We’re thrilled to be changing the way our industry works and getting the materials our customers need to them, wherever they need them, quickly!”
Tradespeople within the M25 will now be able to order from Lawsons’ range directly through the TradeKart app, meaning they can continue to work while their materials are delivered to them, saving them valuable time and money. The service will initially be available at three Lawsons branches – Camden, Whetstone and Acton – with a view to being rolled out to Lawsons’ 19 branches across London and the South East.
