The new TouchProtect range, for example, is a suite of products designed to help combat the transmission of bacteria and viruses on contact surfaces. Products within the range include:
TouchProtect Anti-Microbial Hygiene Spray Paint
This is a 2-pack spray paint that contains a silver biocide to kill bacteria. It can be easily applied to hardware and many other surface materials. It comes in a satin clear finish and the company is looking at adding other colour options in the future.
TouchProtect Anti-Microbial Self Adhesive Film
A self adhesive film that is coated with a silver ion technology, it comes in three sizes as standard but can be custom cut to any required size (subject to volume). The products come printed to ensure consumers know it is safe to touch and lasts for four months, after which it can be removed and replaced.
TouchProtect Premium Hand Sanitiser – 75% Alcohol
Loxta states that it is gaining a lot of traction with its premium hand sanitiser. It has a high alcohol content, slightly thickened for a ‘silky smooth’ finish, and is also said to provide residual protection. A low fragance formula which is described as “perfect for professionals and tradespeople who need to utilise sanitiser regularly”, the products are available in 1L & 5L with pump options.
