PBM catches up on the latest news and developments at Marsh Industries following the manufacturer’s launch of the new Marsh:ENCO low-cost sewage treatment plant, which the firm says has been “designed specifically to support the UK merchant sector.”
It once again seems to have been a busy period for Marsh Industries, with the leading provider of off-mains wastewater treatment solutions continuing to invest in new product development whilst additionally outlining its support for merchants and the wider construction the sector in numerous ways. For example, it was shortlisted for the 2023 BMF Supplier Member Engagement Award in recognition of its “dedication to fostering strong relationships and industry collaboration” through the active participation in BMF meetings, events and forums. The business has also recently been named as a Corporate Supporter of the Institute of Builders Merchants (IOBM).
At the end of February meanwhile, Marsh supported the IBC buying group exhibition and post-event awards dinner whilst its website — www.marshindustries.co.uk — continues to detail a number of support materials including literature and technical downloads alongside a comprehensive video library and the shorter, ‘Team Break Training’ series of films first developed during the pandemic when in-person sessions were curtailed.
In addition, merchant users can still access the Trade Talk bite-sized, two- to three-minute video clips which offer a succinct summary of the benefits of Marsh products and can be used for trade counter displays as well as in-house product training to give merchants and distributors a better understanding of the portfolio.
“With this low-cost system, merchants can provide cost-effective alternatives to their clients without compromising on quality.”
Product development
The supplier’s latest new product introduction of the Marsh:ENCO is intended to enable merchants to “compete effectively against non-conforming sewage treatment plants whilst delivering superior performance in compliance with BS EN 12566-3 standards.” The plant is said to offer advanced capabilities that surpass alternative solutions, allowing merchants to meet the diverse requirements of various sewage treatment projects.
Marsh notes that, most importantly, the ENCO sewage treatment plant “offers remarkably competitive pricing” which has been tailor-made to address the downturn that is affecting the construction sector. With this low-cost system, merchants can provide cost-effective alternatives to their clients without compromising on quality.
The ENCO system has been created to deliver effective and efficient sewage treatment, removing harmful contaminants and ensuring a consistently high-quality effluent to guarantee the protection of public health and the wider environment. Designed for versatility and adaptability, the ENCO is suitable for a wide range of applications whilst its compact size enables easy installation on site.
Steve Boyer, Managing Director of Marsh Industries, said “Merchants can capitalise on all these benefits by offering a solution that adheres to complex regulations and overcomes the limitations of non-conforming sewage plants. The Marsh:ENCO solution can help merchants to better serve their customers and gain a significant edge over competitors.”
