MKM opens new branch in Crewe

MKM Building Supplies has opened its doors in Crewe, creating 17 new jobs in the Cheshire town. MKM Crewe becomes the Hull-based firm’s fifth branch to open over the last twelve months and its 47th in total.

The new branch will be host to the merchant’s full portfolio of products: building, timber, plumbing, joinery, heating, and insulation. The Crewe branch also contains a series of specialist, free services: these include brick-matching, take-off and estimation for builds.

Kitchen and bathroom showrooms have become a prominent feature throughout the company’s branch network, and Crewe’s new branch has dedicated specialists on hand to help those wishing to realise their next interior design project.

As part of its national ongoing growth plan, MKM has seen a steady flow of branch openings. These have taken on an increased momentum throughout its 21st anniversary year; locations have been rolled out in Bishop Auckland, Honiton, Galashiels and Sharston (Manchester South).

To honour the launch, the branch will be providing two opportunities to win £250, as well as weekly prize draws for those spending over a certain amount in-branch.

Peter Eddleston, Branch Director at the Macon Way site, said: “We’ve handpicked a fantastic team here in Crewe. Everyone is delighted to have this opportunity to get to know and impress both the public and trade in the area.”

“The team and I will be working hard to ensure that MKM’s renowned reputation for award-winning products and customer service is replicated here in Crewe.”
