New ForgeFix website promotes smarter fixing technology

ForgeFix has launched a new website dedicated to products sold under its TorxFast brand.

The new site explains some of the many technically advanced features offered by the range of woodscrews, which ForgeFix markets as smarter fixing technology.

Mike Smith, Marketing Director at ForgeFix, explains: “Since their introduction, our TorxFast multi-purpose woodscrews have gained wide and growing popularity with thousands of trade and DIY users. Key to this success has been a number of design innovations which allow TorxFast screws to make fixing into wood quicker, easier and cleaner than ever before.

“Recently, we have extended the range with a number of new products giving users the option of 27 extra sizes as well as various additional finishes. In light of this, now seemed the perfect time to promote the benefits of the enhanced product choice available with a new and dedicated online presence.”

The new site offers a good introduction to many of the specific benefits offered by the range. This includes an overview of features such as the self-drilling shank employed on TorxFast multi-purpose screws which eliminates the need to drill pilot holes.

Other features outlined include the dual head design used on TorxFast timber screws, which enables users to employ different types of driver, as well as the highly corrosion resistant, green Ruspert coating, which is employed on TorxFast products designed for exterior use.

The website also offers details of the numerous sized screws available under the brand, which range from 3.0 x 12mm up to 7.0 x 250mm.

Concluding, Mike Smith adds: “Given the extensive array of advanced features and subsequent benefits offered by the TorxFast range, a brand specific website was perhaps the only way of doing them full justice. The new site can be used both as an information source for end-users as well as a product training and sales aid for our stockists.”
