Kirklees-based business Rixonway Kitchens, has appointed former Sales and Marketing Director David Anderson as Managing Director.
Effective as of 1 November 2015, David has stepped up to lead the £40m turnover business which specialises in manufacturing and supplying kitchens to the social housing and merchant sector. The appointment is one of a trio of senior appointments at Rixonway which will also see Phil Bonar become Sales Director and Kevin Brown become Head of Merchant Sales.
Since joining the company in 2007, David has overseen the expansion of the business, more than doubled staff numbers and won significant new contracts across the UK. He has 25 years’ experience in the industry including senior sales and marketing roles at Kent-based Marley Plumbing and Drainage and bath and sink manufacturer Spring Ram.
In his new role David will continue to oversee Rixonway’s integration into the Nobia Group which acquired the business in December 2014.
Phil Bonar spent 24 years in the plastic plumbing and drainage products industry before joining the business last year from Polypipe Building Products. Phil will be responsible for sales into the social housing, merchant and private developer market sectors.

Founded in 1978, Rixonway manufactures around 18,000 units per week and employs more than 500 people at its UK HQ and manufacturing site in Dewsbury West Yorkshire.
