Haldane Group has launched its new High Potential Development Programme, aimed at encouraging the continued professional success of employees across the group.
The first intake to the programme includes 14 staff members drawn from Haldane Group brands, which incorporate Haldane Fisher NI, Haldane Fisher – Isle of Man, Haldane Fisher – UK, GE Robinson, Plumbmaster, Prowood, Bathline and Key Hardware, across Northern Ireland, England and the Isle of Man.
Aisling Rafferty, Talent Manager at Haldane Group, said: “Launching our High Potential Development Programme as part of our Talent strategy represents a significant milestone for Haldane Group, once again demonstrating our commitment to supporting and encouraging our employees to be the very best they can be.
“Staff development is hugely important to us as an organisation, as we understand that the development of our workforce is integral to the future growth and success of our business.”
She continued: “Providing team members right across our brand and branch network with access to tailored training and support will promote development across all levels of the business, ensuring that we continue to provide the high-quality service our customers and partners have come to expect.
“I would like to congratulate each of the 14 driven individuals taking part in the first round of our High Potential Development Programme, and I look forward to working in partnership with each of those selected to help them reach their full potential.”
The High Potential Development Programme will take place over an 18-month period and will provide training and development opportunities to staff via a hybrid in-house and virtual model.
Furthermore, the programme will be launched bi-yearly to support the company’s sustainable people strategy which focuses on ‘growing and developing our own talent’. Participants are selected from recommendations made by senior management, and successful nominees are required to complete an online assessment and an interview prior to the commencement of the programme.
Haldane Fisher has also launched a mentoring programme which aims to not only benefit those selected for the High Potential Development Programme, but will also support other future leaders within the group to reach their full potential.
Haldane Group’s commitment to promoting high standards at all levels has been recognised by numerous industry and trade bodies. The company was recently named Builders Merchant of the Year (6-20 branches) at the prestigious Builders Merchants Awards and Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) Training Company of the Year. Haldane Fisher also received the prestigious Octabuild Award for Excellence in 2022.
